This vital funding will allow us to deliver our ‘What’s Your Genius’ workshops to children and young people in Special Education Needs (SEN) schools across Devon. We are so excited to get started!
It is a huge privilege for our whole team to start this project. We know that statistically, children with Special Education Needs or neurodiversity can have a higher chance of developing emotional distress and mental health issues.
However, we also know that when supported with the right opportunities and a nurturing environment, these amazing young people can realise their huge potential and share their unique gifts and natural talents to benefit themselves and the whole of society. ✨
Our ‘What’s Your Genius’ workshops are designed to shine a positive light on neurodiversity, helping students aged 9-14 discover their unique strengths, build confidence, and develop mental health resilience in a fun and interactive way. 🧠💡
We can’t wait to build on our successful 2023 workshops and continue this rewarding work in 2025/26.
