Our work is made possible through partnerships with like-minded organisations dedicated to supporting the mental wellbeing of young people. These collaborations enable us to reach more families in need, signpost helpful support, conduct informative research and advocate for positive change in youth mental health.

We have received funding from the UK’s NHS to promote our Power2Parent groups.

We have submitted evidence to the UK Parliament’s APPG inquiry into support available for young people who self-harm.

We deliver a course for Devon Recovery Learning Community, a Recovery College provided by Devon Partnership NHS Trust.

Children & Young People’s Mental Health Coalition Member

We are a member of the Children and Young People’s Mental Health Coalition. We are working towards building a nation where positive mental health is promoted and early intervention practices are in place to secure mentally healthier futures for our children and young people.

National Suicide Prevention Alliance Member

We are a member of The National Suicide Prevention Alliance (NSPA). An alliance of public, private and voluntary organisations in England who care about suicide prevention and are willing to take individual and collective action to reduce suicide and support those bereaved or affected.

We are a member of The National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO), the umbrella body for the voluntary and community sector in England that works to support the voluntary and community sector and to create an environment in which an independent civil society can flourish.

One of Australia’s leading community-managed specialist mental health service providers offer the Horizon Plan online course for parents and carers of young people who self-injure.

A key partner that funded a pilot of our Power2Parent programme and the development of a series of workshops building mental health resilience in local school children.

Provided a grant to improving our digital infrastructure – building a new website, upgrading our LMS, IT systems and software to improve digital delivery and scale our support for families in need.

Provided ‘Awards for All’ funding, enabling us to develop and run our Facebook Group supporting parents of young people struggling with mental health and self-harm.

People’s Postcode Trust

People’s Postcode Trust is a grant-giving charity funded entirely by players of People’s Postcode Lottery. Our organisation received a large grant to support our work with parents of young people struggling with mental health and workshops in schools.

The Livewell Foundation provided financial support to the YMHF to enable projects that will have a transformational effect on communities living in Plymouth and South West Devon by reducing social isolation, improving health and wellbeing, or preventing ill-health.
