Piers and the St. Austell Brewery Charitable Trust have generously donated towards our next group, which is vital for parents and carers of young people struggling with mental health living in Torbay. This support helps us continue empowering families.
Piers took valuable time out of his busy schedule to listen directly to parents, learning about the challenges they face with long waiting lists for CAMHS and other essential services. He also expressed a keen interest in understanding the role neurodiversity plays in young people’s mental health, relating to it through his own family’s experiences. He heard firsthand how incredibly helpful, supportive, and impactful these groups are in empowering them to advocate for their children. It was truly wonderful to have him visit and see the difference we’re making together!
